Dear PAUM Members,
After a lapse of more than four months since the 1st meeting held in January 2015, the 2nd PAUM Exco meeting was held on last Thursday 28th May.
Some of the major decisions made at the meeting were:
1) The 2015 AGM will be held at 10 am on Saturday 25th July, in the new PAUM Clubhouse. Light lunch will be served after the AGM.
The original plan was to hold the AGM in June, in compliance with ROS regulations. Unfortunately, this is not possible due to various constraints.
2) A meeting will be held with our legal advisor before the AGM to make some relevant amendments to the PAUM constitution, to ensure full compliance. These amendments will be tabled as resolutions in the AGM to get members’ approval.
3) The Honorary Secretary, Ms Ellen Loh, announced that by the end of July, she will be stepping down as Clubhouse Project Coordinator, a full time job she held since 1st August 2011 when the PAUM clubhouse was ready for handover to PAUM.
Please mark this important date 25th July on your calendar. Do make an effort to attend the AGM as this is election year. We also need your valuable input for amendments to the PAUM constitution, as well as issues that relate to the operation of the new clubhouse.
